LOS ANGELES - Ajang penghargaan televisi bergengsi The 77th Emmy Awards akan digelar pada Minggu, 14 September 2025 dan disiarkan langsung dari Peacock Theater, Los Angeles melalui CBS. Acara ini juga bisa disaksikan secara streaming live dan on demand di Paramount+.
Apple TV+ kembali merajai nominasi dengan perolehan 27 nominasi, termasuk kategori Best Drama Series untuk serial andalannya yang akan bersaing dengan Andor, The Diplomat, The Last of Us, Paradise, The Pitt, Slow Horses, dan The White Lotus.
The Penguin menyusul dengan 24 nominasi, diikuti The Studio dan The White Lotus yang sama-sama meraih 23 nominasi. The Last of Us mendapat 16 nominasi, sementara Andor dan Hacks masing-masing mengantongi 14 nominasi. HBO dan Max kembali menjadi platform dengan nominasi terbanyak.
Menariknya, The Studio mencetak rekor dengan menyamai torehan The Bear (2024) sebagai komedi dengan nominasi terbanyak dalam satu tahun. Serial ini akan bersaing di kategori Best Comedy Series bersama Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Hacks, Nobody Wants This, Only Murders in the Building, Shrinking, dan What We Do in the Shadows.
